2nd Generation Barndoors

The next generation is here for summer 2008!  The 2nd generation of our award winning Barndoors have arrived...and they are HOT! HOT! HOT!  We're so excited about these metal hinged, interactive chipboard pieces!   I've had so many people ask for more pictures of these to see what they look like before they're decorated, so here they are.  These come in a package of 6 different shapes and 7 self-adhesive hinges.

Summer 2008 Sneak Peek!

What an exciting year 2008 has been!  With the release of our recycled paper in January 2008, Piggy Tales has been proud to be a part of the green movement.  To continue the tradition in 2008, all of our summer paper is printed on recycled paper with soy based ink.

Also check out our newest chipboard album, the Drawbridge Book.  This album has a unique binding system that allows you to add embellishments to each page while still closing flat!

Another addition to our extensive innovative products is our 2nd generation barndoors.  These fun embellishments allow you to hide pictures and journaling while creating an interactive element to your paper crafts.

2nd Generation Barndoors

Create hidden journaling and photos on layouts and projects, apply to paper crafts to create added dimension, adhere to children's crafts to create an interactive project...the possibilities are endless!  Chipboard "door" attaches to chipboard frame with self-adhesive hinges to create an interactive flap.  Comes with 6 chipboard doors, 5 large self-adhesive hinges, and 2 small self-adhesive hinges.  

Drawbridge Book 

Made of white chipboard, our Drawbridge Book introduces a unique binding system called "true close".  True close binding allows you to add tons of paper and embellishments to each page, and the book still closes flat!  No more bulky albums that won't close on your bookshelf.  Have fun with each page flap as you fill your album with priceless memories.

PIGGY TALES EARTH DAY PHOTO CONTEST!

To celebrate Earth Day, Piggy Tales is having their FIRST ever photo contest.  Submit a photo (100KB or less) you have taken outdoors along with a short desription of the photo (50 words or less).  5 winners will be chosen and each will receive over $100 worth of Piggy Tales' newest products!  Email entries to contact@piggytales.com  All entries must be received by midnight PST, April 30th.  Please title email "PT Photo Contest".

My son Chace loves to play in the water.  I had to take this shot of him plaing in a stream while we were camping.

Who doesn't love Hawaii.  This picture was taken on our 5th year anniversary.

Iowa has the craziest weather.  We were getting ready to go on vacation right before Mother's Day and it started hailing.   

Here's a shot of the sky in Iowa.  Anyone that knows me well knows that I HATE tornados.  We lived in Iowa for 3 years and I dreaded each spring because I knew it was tornando time!  Here's a picture of the sky during a tornado warning.  I found out later that a tornado touched down a couple miles away that same day.   

I love gardening.  These flowers are some of the most gorgeous flowers I've ever seen. 

Snow in Vegas?  I had to take a picture of this!

We were finally able to get everyone together at CHA to get a group shot.  We had so much fun at the show and were so excited to finally show everyone our new products in person.  People who ordered at the show received a small tree in a tube to take home and plant in their yard to promote Piggy Tales going green with recycled paper.  We were happy to do a small part to give back to the community.

It was a late night last night. I got so excited to post the sneak peek that only a few of the images actually worked. We've had phone calls and emails flooding in from people letting us know they couldn't see the pictures, so let's try this again. Click on the images to enlarge them!

Piggy Tales is proudly announcing that we are the first major scrapbook company to GO GREEN this Spring with recycled paper!!

That is right- and we mean it literally!! For CHA Winter, our papers will be printed on high quality 65 lb environmentally friendly, recycled paper!! We didn’t stop with that either! The patterns are printed with soy based, organic ink…and YES!! It is all acid and lignin free!
